DATA SCIENTIST

In Kernel Analytics we are currently looking for Data Scientists to continue the growth of our Madrid and Barcelona offices, to leverage our product portfolio and to develop new data driven solutions to address new business challenges of our customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in data mining, statistics, machine learning techniques and/or econometrics
- Programming skills and advanced knowledge of Python or/and R
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Ability to think analytically, quantitatively and creatively
- Experience working directly with clients
- Good communication skills
- Ability to supervise Junior Data Scientist development
- Advanced level of Spanish and English
HIGHLY VALUED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Masters Degree or/and PhD in Data Science, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, AI, Modeling or similar
- Advanced Knowledge in specific SQL DB Systems such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server…
- Use of NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase)
- Exposure to Big data technologies as Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Impala…
- Graphical interface design for data visualization
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks and problems
